ROOKIE STREET MARKET is founded by the two designers Jane Stub Kirchhoff and Kasper Harup-Hansen.
Jane has a MA from the Royal Danish Academy of Design where she studied illustration and visual communication.
Her work has been sold in leading design and interior stores in Scandinavia and around Europe.
Her work is represented in framed artworks, postcards, calendars, quirky card games, info graphics in papers
and magazines and other illustrative products.
Jane is curious as a person and as an illustrator. She keeps exploring and refining her skills through studies
in everything she finds inspiring from pottery, oil painting, jewellery making to wood carving and traditional
printing techniques. She is always curious to learn and explore new fields,
which she transforms and mix with her imaginative universe.
Kasper Harup-Hansen has a background as a fashion designer focusing on menswear,
showing his collections in Paris, Copenhagen and Tokyo, secondly as a photographer
working with things like advertising, fashion and art.
Today he's a bit everywhere, still working with photography and art, but he is also the driving force behind the design couple's other project NAAMI, a platform of handmade quality products, ranging from surf accessories
and kitchen gear to fly fishing equipment.
ROOKIE STREET MARKET is a creative space, a playground if you will, a place with no boundaries
and lots of room to have fun and explore, a place where everything is possible.
All our products are proudly designed and handcrafted in our Copenhagen based design studio.
